President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney are seemingly everywhere this week, defending the war in Iraq and promising not to retreat.
Yet, when they're done, it's still hard not to ask, well, why are we in Iraq?
Mr. Cheney went to the Camp Lejeune Marine base in North Carolina on Monday, vowing to a whooping crowd that the almost 2,000 Americans killed in the war won't be forgotten. "We will honor their memories forever, and we will honor their sacrifice by completing the mission," Mr. Cheney said.
But what is the mission, two and a half years after the United States invaded Iraq and overthrew Saddam Hussein?
It can't be to stop Iraq …
