NSW: Outrage as cop-killer walks free

SYDNEY, Jan 13 AAP - Convicted cop-killer Patrick Horan will walk free from jail next
week following a Parole Board decision that has enraged police, the NSW government and
his surviving victim.
Horan sprayed a volley of bullets at police officers after a high-speed chase near
Bathurst on March 30, 1986, killing 25-year-old constable Paul Quinn and seriously injuring
his partner Ian Borland, then a sergeant.
