On Monday there were four men in the hall filled by highlymotivated women and girls.
The event was an awards evening for Girlguiding Wells, whichcovers most of mid-Somerset. Two of the men were husbands and one amayor.
I was the fourth, invited because a few years ago I agreed tobecome an official Ambassador to Girlguiding and support thisvaluable movement run by volunteers.
It encourages girls to think for themselves, respect others andmake long-lasting friends through shared activities, fun andadventure.
Dull and boring? Not Girlguiding. Instead it gives girls a voiceand builds their self-esteem.
