NSW:Singleton pulls offer for Broncos, says outbid by News Corp
SYDNEY, Dec 17 AAP - John Singleton's Magic Millions League Pty Ltd today dropped its
takeover bid for the Brisbane Broncos Ltd, saying it was outbid by News Corp's offer for
the rugby league side.
"Magic Millions League has decided not to proceed with its takeover proposal because
of the announcement ... made by BB Sports Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of News Corp,
of its intention to make a takeover offer for Brisbane Broncos at a higher offer price,"
Magic Millions said.
