Fed: Unions vow to fight IR changes
The union movement says it will unveil a new campaign against the government's workplace
reforms .. which are expected to pass parliament tomorrow.
ACTU president SHARAN BURROW says the measures are a betrayal of working Australians
.. and the union movement will announce a major campaign against them next week.
Ms BURROW says Nationals MPs .. who were most vocal in seeking amendments to the bill
.. have betrayed rural Australia.
And amendments to the legislation are just tinkering at the edges of the bill.
Ms BURROW says the new laws are a massive win for employers .. who'll have the capacity
to intimidate working people to sign employment contracts.
